United National Party Parliamentarian S.M. Marikkar denies having exerted any influence over the UNP’s Kolonnawa nominations list, especially in the wake of the media allegations which purport to say that he had influenced the striking-off the nomination of Sumana Premachandra, the wife of late Baratha Lakshman Premachandra.
