The Government Medical Officers Association has called for the arrest of individual who had declared the sale of the Dr. Neville Fernando Hospital in Malabe.
The hospital, which was at the centre of a number of protests, was taken over by the government under the orders of President Maithripala Sirisena.
General Secretary of the GMOA Dr. Haritha Aluthage says that the Association has informed relevant authorities in this regard.
He further said that that the Association hopes necessary measures will be taken by the Government, Police and Judiciary.
