Minister Susil Premajayantha states that the Sri Lanka Freedom Party should now take its seat in the opposition.
Speaking to News24, Premajayantha said that following the spat on the recent no-confidence motion against Prime Minister Ranil Wickramasinghe, the SLFP should sever its ties with the coalition government, since it was to no avail.
He also said that the SLFP by joining hands with likeminded forces in Parliament, by displaying a majority, should take up the role of the opposition & its leadership.
