Captain's form is a worry for India

India will look to get another victory in the ongoing T20I tri-series when they take on Sri Lanka on Monday.

India had gone down to Sri Lanka in the opening match, but came back in the second match to get the better of Bangladesh. All three teams have a victory each after playing two matches and so a win will keep India a step ahead of the rivals.

Sri Lanka are leading the table on net run rate ahead of India and Bangladesh. But a win on Monday would take India to the top, dislodging the Lankans. Shikhar Dhawan has been in good form having registered two half-centuries, but his opening partner and captain, Rohit Sharma, is badly in need of runs.

The stand-in skipper, one of the most prolific white-ball players, has so far scored just 17 runs from two matches. Rohit's score in his last five T20Is have been 17,0, 11, 0 and 21.

Dhawan is in imperious form. After his 49-ball 90 in the opener against the Lankans, Dhawan made 55 off 43 deliveries to help India chase down Bangladesh's below-par total with consummate ease in the last game.
