She's proud of her Barbados heritage and often returns to the Caribbean for their traditions and festivities.
So Rihanna made sure to pull out all the stops in celebrating the annual Crop Over Festival in her native country on Monday, ensuring she'd turn heads in her show-stopping creation.
The 29-year-old songstress donned the skimpiest of bejeweled bikinis with matching garters and outrageous plumed wings for the colorful harvest celebration.

The Bajan beauty ensured she'd keep fans up to date with her goings on as she posted to her Instagram stories a series of snaps that showcased her phenomenal figure.

Flaunting her ample cleavage, the Stay hitmaker donned a tiny bejewelled bikini top that she teamed with equally skimpy brief and glittering fishnet tights. The Diamonds singer continued to rock her dramatic teal hair with dramatic makeup.
She captioned one of her photos 'who ready 4 de road?' a lyric from her Bunji Garlin song for the Kadoomet Day event.

The Kadooment Day parade is the climax of Barbados' Crop Over festival, a West Indian celebration marking the end of the sugar-cane harvest which dates back at least to the colonial period.
At the end of the sugar season, there was always a huge celebration to mark the culmination of another successful sugar cane harvest - the Crop Over celebration.
As the sugar industry in Barbados declined so too did the Crop Over festival and in the 1940s the festival was terminated completely, partially also due to due mostly to WWII.
However, the festival was revived in 1974 and other elements of Barbadian culture were infused to create the extravaganza that exists today: an event that attracts thousands of people from across the globe.

WHAT IS THE CROP OVER FESTIVAL?

The Crop Over summer festival is Barbados' most popular and colourful festival. Its origins can be traced back to the 1780's, a time when Barbados was the world's largest producer of sugar.
It was formerly called Harvest Home and ever since its inception has featured singing, dancing and accompaniment by bottles filled with water, shak-shak, banjo, triangle, fiddle, guitar, and bones.
Other traditions included climbing a greased pole, feasting and drinking competitions. Beginning in June, Crop Over runs until the first Monday in August when it culminates in the finale, The Grand Kadooment.

And Rihanna certainly looked ready to throw herself into the festivities on the outing.
It's not the first time she has opted to change up her hair colour and back in 2015, Rihanna had dabbled with a blue dye, but of a much darker shade.
Seeming to embrace her revamped tresses, Rihanna - who is reportedly dating Saudi businessman Hassan Jameel - looked confident as ever in her outrageous attire.
The outfit also prompted a comment from her ex-boyfriend Chris Brown, who assaulted her in 2009.
Fans were infuriated when Chris posted a comment on his former girlfriend Rihanna's Instagram page on Monday.
The Look At Me Now singer, who assaulted Rihanna back in 2009, posted a an icon of a pair of eyes after she shared an image of the skimpy costume she wore to the Crop Over Festival in her native Barbados that same day.
