American business magnate, investor, author, philanthropist, and co-founder of the Microsoft Corporation Bill Gates has said he is prepared to assist Sri Lanka’s health sector, the Health Ministry said.
Health Minister Dr. Rajitha Senaratne had a brief meeting with Gates in Abu Dhabi during an international conference on health.
During the meeting, Gates had reportedly told the Minister he was aware of the efforts being taken in Sri Lanka to improve the health sector.
He had said he is prepared to assist those efforts in Sri Lanka, the Health Ministry said.
