The prices of 48 pharmaceutical drugs which were reduced following the issuance of an Extraordinary Gazette Notification on the 21st of October 2016, sanctioned by Minister of Health Rajitha Senaratne has been increased.
At present the Ministry of Health has drawn measures to issue a separate Extra Ordinary Gazatte Notification on the 14th of December 2017.
According to the Ministry of Health, the new gazette notification will influence a price increase in all pharmaceutical drugs, the prices of which were brought down in 2016.
