A new program to provide assistance for children with economic difficulties will be presented by Minister of Education Akila Viraj Kariyawasam as a budget proposal.
He said that this program was for school going aged children who do not go to schools due to economic issues.
Minister Kariyawasam made these comments at a press briefing held at the Education Ministry on the International Literacy day which falls on 8th September.
